Me Stéphanie Herbert obtained her law degree (LL.B.) from Université du Québec à Montréal in 2012. She successfully completed the Québec Bar exams in May 2013 and articled under Me Anne-France Goldwater.
During her stage, Me Herbert had the opportunity to work on challenging cases where Mareva Injunctions and Anton Piller Orders were obtained. Prior to her studies in law, she studied political science at Concordia University, where she made the Dean’s List. She also studied abroad at Sciences Po Paris, where she studied international law and European Union law.
Me Herbert volunteered for Clinique Juridique Juripop, organizing several family and civil law conferences and helping to raise awareness among students in various Quebec high schools. She also worked as a student at law in a real estate management firm.
She became interested in debating during her studies and was a finalist in a radio competition from Droit de Cité by Juripop and the Barreau du Québec.
Stéphanie is fluent in both French and English. If Me Herbert had not been a lawyer, she would have been the next Anna Wintour.
